More About M
Hi! I am Chelsea, the wit and lip that created TheCrazyWorkingMom.Behind the blog, I am a full time working mom of 3 amazing kiddos, Addison, Brendan, and Ellie.During the day, I am a hard working mom boss putting in 40 plus hours per week, on top of being an extracurricular taxi, laundry fairy, house maid, gourmet chef (depending on who you ask at dinner) and loving mother who is trying not to lose her shit.By night? I am an up and coming mommy blogger who finds her solace in aiding other internet mom’s in trying to keep their sanity in check.Prior to becoming a work from home mom, I lived in the world of social work. (That may be where the crazy came from to be honest) In and out of family homes, working in a social work setting taught me a lot about who I am as a person, and what goals I have for my own family. Following that, I did my own stint in stay at home mommy-dom and took away so many life lessons. (The biggest of which being that I missed adults.)
So how to I balance working from home full time, being a full time mom, having hobbies, cleaning house, and having a life?
Not always well. But each day I take away a life lesson that promises to make the next morning a little brighter, and the next morning, I brew the coffee a little stronger and pretend I know what I am doing.
What does this mean for you?
Aside from all of the normal working mom stuff that blogger’s post about, I have the unique perspective of having done this all from home and still trying to keep the household going. Pre-schooler popping in to shout hi on a zoom call wearing nothing but her underwear? Teenage meltdown over her little brother singing the wrong words to her favorite song while you are trying to meet a deadline?Fun stuff, eh?Well, if you have read to this point to learn more about me, then I invite you to subscribe to my blog to continue following along with my journey! By subscribing, you will get updates when I post my newest stuff, as well as the occasional e-mail allowing you to get an additional glimpse into my world.
